Early Childhood

Early Education is voluntary for children under 6 in Germany's Federal Territory. It is, in essence, Pre-School. Private daycare centres and local institutions provide preschool education.

Primary and Secondary Education

Sekundarstufe I and Sekundarstufe II, respectively, are the two levels of Secondary School. The former is for students in grades 5 and 7 who are between 10-15/16. The latter is for individuals aged 15 to 16 until they reach the age of 18.
